Gomen must stop feeding the cronies

PRIMA will be building 50,000 affordable houses ranging from RM100,000 to RM400,000.  This is the so-called pledge by the Gomen sitting in Putrajaya.  But what the Gomen insiders are not telling is that they will put up frame work instead of houses and make the people pay through their noses with yearly increase interest.  The people involve in the construction of these houses have already put deposit on the type of luxury cars they are going to purchase and cruise they will be taking once the money comes in within three months. The houses that will be build is of the lowest quality and with plenty of cracks and sink holes before it can even be occupy by the buyers if they are not dead yet before getting their keys. The actual cost for building such houses after all commission pay stand at RM8,000 for single storey, RM18,000 for double storey and apartment RM 12,000 per unit. So you can see how much Gomen and their cronies will be making from 50,000 houses.  I can bet my life that the end contractors will have to further cut material use to survive or just abandon the project after two months.

Interesting enough there is one company that not only can build affordable houses but also guarantee no crack or any sinking for 10 years and can build it within a short period.  For a single storey house with three bedrooms, 1 bath, 7 windows, 5 doors, a car porch with drainage within, the cost is RM13,000. The whole construction can be completed within two weeks.  For double storey the cost is RM20,000 and apartment is at RM18,000.  The company concern has 60 years experience and 20 years in the international market.

My point is that if Gomen is serious about affordable houses with high quality standard and can be build at short period.  Why not approach this company and cut off all the middlemen?  Even if PRIMA were to sell the single storey houses for RM26,000, double storey at RM40,000 and apartment at RM36,000, there is 100% profit.

But then there are so many pockets to fill..................
