Muhyiddin today announced that the Government is offering scholarships worth RM1.24 bil to 1,500 last year's top SPM students to undertake first degree programmes abroad. Top scorers were selected from four categories, namely academic excellence, RACIAL RATIO, Sabah and Sarawak bumiputra and the socially disadvantaged group.
The Government still cannot get it that only the best should be given the scholarships and not base on race again and again.
Government scholarship priority should be given to STPM instead of SPM students. Why the heck must the government continue to lower their standard and encouraging more students to fast track to University and end up with half screw brain.
