It is funny how the Kelantan Royalty can now deny about the abuse and insist this is a personal affair. If you recall this so called personal affair could have been settled quietly before the news leaked out. But no, thinking this is their grand father’s country they can do what they like. In fact so many Royalties think it is their grand fathers’ country, we folks are just plain outcast with no rights.
The public hatred and frustration with these Royalties are not without good reasons. From past experiences and most recently in Perak the selfishness and arrogance in their behaviour and manner in dealing with the public shows lack of good upbringing. Most of whom have even gone oversea for their educations. The saying Money and Power does not make a man is true.
It would be good if we could do away with 9 Sultans and just leave 1 as the King. This way there is no competition among the Royalties to show their power and abuse their position. But then some clever group will start shouting and protesting this jibe and that and another Malay Right Issue will make it round again. Malays have gone over sensitive into tiny issue that does not bring any bread and butter to the table shows that they are insecure and lack understanding of what is happening around them. They are easily led by a big mouth PR Minister who thinks he is better than the PM.
