'Anak pegawai kanan polis miliki kekayaan luar biasa’
KUALA LUMPUR: Pengerusi Pasukan Petugas Pemantau Jenayah Malaysia (MyWatch) R Sri Sanjeevan mendakwa anak lelaki seorang pegawai kanan polis memiliki aset kekayaan melebihi RM2 juta.

Sabah police chief Datuk Hamza Taib (pic) has admitted that he is the top cop referred to in allegations of conflict of interest by MyWatch chairman S. Sri Sanjeevan.
Hamza also admitted that his son is a director of a company supplying firearms to the police but refuted claims by Sanjeevan this morning of any impropriety.
“I know he was one of the ten directors of a firearms company in Sabah as what Sanjeevan told the media today.
“I need to point out that he is just a non-executive member (has no decision making powers) in the company,” Hamza told Fz.com, adding that his appointment was due to the fact that the company needed a Bumiputera representative.
He also said his son, Mohd Azhan Hamza, was actualy working as a consultant for five different companies in various sectors, and not jobless as alleged.
Hamza said his son also worked as a consultant for a law firm, a trading and a construction company.
On Sanjeevan’s allegations of two luxury cars, Hamza said his son did purchase the cars but not at the prices claimed by Sanjeevan.
“As far as I am concerned, both the cars are reconditioned ones. The Audi cost about RM190,000 while the Jaguar XL was purchased at the price of RM380,000.
“My son is currently staying at a terrace house I bought in Selayang (Selangor) with his wife. The property does not belong to him,” he said, adding that Mohd Azhan also paid taxes every year.
