You know what this is right? In Nigeria it is called Boko Haram. In Malaysia it is called 'Buku haram'. You cannot read any book which the 'authorities' think you should not be reading.
Here is something for your mental consumption. This is from a book. I will not tell you the name of this book. This book is read in Malaysia by 'scholars' (nauzubillah - May Allah protect us). Among others it says the following :
1. retaliation is obligatory against anyone who kills a human being purely intentionally and without right.” However, “not subject to retaliation” is “a father or mother (or their fathers or mothers) for killing their offspring, or offspring’s offspring.” (In other words there is no punishment for killing your children or grandchildren).
2. if a Muslim deliberately murders another Muslim he falls under the law of retaliation and must by law be put to death by the next of kin. But if a non-Muslim who dies at the hand of a Muslim, the penalty of death is not valid. Instead the Muslim murderer must pay a fine and be punished with the lash….(If a Muslim kills a non Muslim there is no death penalty for the Muslim.)
3. if a Muslim commits adultery his punishment is 100 lashes, the shaving of his head, and one year of banishment. But if the man is not a Muslim and commits adultery with a Muslim woman his penalty is execution…(If a Muslim commits adultery it is 100 lashes, if a non Muslim commits adultery with a Muslim woman, he must be killed.)
So what do you think folks? Do you think books that say these type of wild things should be

So what do you think folks? Do you think books that say these type of wild things should be
a. banned or
b. forced down the minds of the muslims?
This is what is found written in some of these religious books which have NOT been banned.
Conclusion : Do you expect the same people who believe in such things to allow other people write books which question such beliefs? I dont think so.
Which is why in intelligent and modern societies, they do not ban books. Especially intellectual books. But this statement is only valid in modern and intellectual societies.
