Where will the 50 and above go?

 

TM offers VSS to non-executives aged 50 and above

Telekom Malaysia is believed to be hoping to reduce its workforce by at least 500 people through voluntary separation schemes.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS VOLUNTARY.


BIG COMPANIES LOVE TO DISH OUT VOLUNTARY SEPARATION SCHEMES BECAUSE THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET RID OF OLD PEOPLE IN THE COMPANY AND SAVE ON HUGE SALARIES.


SOME TIME BACK GENTING DID THE SAME TO THOUSAND OF ITS WORKERS.  THE COMPANY ALREADY EARMARKED THE ONES TO LET GO.  SO WHEN THOSE REFUSED TO ACCEPT THE VOLUNTARY SEPARATION SCHEMES, THEY WERE PUT INTO STORAGE AND PRESSURED FOR 2 YEARS.  FINALLY EVERYONE ACCEPTED.  ONCE THEY LEFT, GENTING BROUGHT IN THOUSAND OF FOREIGN WORKERS WHICH COST THEM CHEAPER TO MAINTAIN.


SO WHEN BIG CORPORATIONS COME OUT WITH THIS KIND OF SCHEME, NO ONE STAND A CHANCE AGAINST THE BIG WIGS.


ONE OF MY FRIEND WAS FORCED AND THREATENED FOR 2 YEARS AND FINALLY GAVE IN.  AT THE AGE OF 52 YEARS OLD HE COULD NOT CARRY ON LIKE BEFORE.  HIS LAST SALARY WAS RM6200. TO START ALL OVER AGAIN HE WAS FORCED TO TAKE A JOB FOR RM1800.  HE STILL HAS LOAN FOR HIS CAR AND HOUSE.  HE HAS 3 SCHOOL GOING CHILDREN.  HIS WIFE WAS FORCED TO WORK AS OFFICE CLEANER FOR RM1500.  TODAY HE AND HIS WIFE ARE STRUGGLING TO SURVIVE.


TODAY MTUC HAS BECOME MORE POLITICAL THAN HELPING THE WORKERS.


THE GOVERNMENT HAS NO TIME FOR UNEMPLOYED WORKERS BUT LOVE FEEDING GOVERNMENT SERVANTS WITH BONUS, BIG INCREMENT, ALLOWANCES AND ANG POW.


MP SPEND TOO MUCH TIME ENJOYING LIFE.


THERE MUST BE A LAW THAT PROTECTS PEOPLE ABOVE 50 FROM  BEING FORCED TO ACCEPT VSS.


COMPANIES LET GO OLD STAFF BECAUSE THEIR SALARIES ARE HIGHER. WITH NEW AND YOUNG STAFF THE PAY IS MUCH LOWER. 


THIS IS CALL EXTORTING WORKERS.


WITH EARNING OF RM12.1 BILLION LAST YEAR TM CANNOT AFFORD TO KEEP 500 STAFF ABOVE 50. THIS IS MOTHER FUCKER EXCUSE.


MENTAL ILLNESS WILL RISE.

SUICIDE WILL RISE.

ABUSE WILL RISE.

CRIME WILL RISE.


WHO CARES????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
