MySejahtera appointment system will not work

 

MoH expands MySejahtera appointment system for primary healthcare

Move aims to prevent congestion at registration, waiting points due to \

long waiting times

THIS LADY OBVIOUSLY HAS NEVER VISITED GOVERNMENT CLINIC 

OR HOSPITALS.

HAVE ANYONE OF YOU MAKE ANY APPOINTMENT THROUGH 

THE NET?

I HAVE AND SO DID MY FRIENDS.

WITH OR WITHOUT APPOINTMENTS THE QUEUE IS JUST AS 

LONG.

WHY?

BECAUSE THERE IS MISMANAGEMENT AT EVERY STAGE.

THE LAST TIME I WAS AT THE HOSPITAL WAS JUST 3 MONTHS AGO.  

THE SYSTEM OF WAITING IS SIMILAR TO MY EXPERIENCE 10 YEARS 

AGO.

FIRST YOU HAVE TO CHECK IN AT THE COUNTER. THE NURSE WILL 

CHECK HER COMPUTER AND THEN LOOK FOR THE CARD WHICH 

TAKE ABOUT 15 MINS TO 20 MINS.

IF EVERYTHING HAS BEEN COMPUTERIZED WHY THE NEED TO 

HAVE A WRITTEN CARD?

BECAUSE THE COMPUTER ONLY CHECK YOUR MYKAD, ADDRESS 

AND PHONE. YOUR HISTORY IS STILL IN THE WRITTEN CARD 

SYSTEM. ME THINK THIS IS REALLY STUPID.

MALAYSIA GOVERNMENT HAD SPENT MORE THAN A BILLION 

RINGGIT TO UPDATE EVERYTHING TO THE COMPUTER AND HERE 

I AM LOOKING AT A HALF BAKE SYSTEM.

AFTER THAT I GO FOR MY PRESSURE, HEIGHT AND WEIGH READING.

THAT IS THE ONLY FAST STEP.

THEN I AM TOLD TO WAIT WHICH CAN BE AN HOUR OR TWO FOR 

THE INTERN CUM DOCTOR TO SEE ME.

I HAVE VERTIGO AND THE INTERN CUM DOCTOR DOES NOT KNOW 

WHAT THAT IS.  SO HE/SHE LOOK IT UP ON HER PHONE.

THEN SHE ASK WHAT WAS PRESCRIBE THE LAST TIME.

I DESCRIBE THE MEDICINE AND TOLD THE DOCTOR I HAD THEN 

FOR ONLY A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME.

SHE THEN PRESCRIBE ME SOMETHING FOR DIZZINESS AND

HEADACHE.

DOCTOR SAID I HAD TO HAVE MY EARS CHECK. I THEN TOLD THE 

DOCTOR THE MEDICINE HE PRESCRIBE WAS NOT THE SAME AS 

THE PREVIOUS ONES BUT HE SAID THAT IS THE ONLY ONE

WRITTEN IN HIS PHONE.

SO OFF I WENT TO SEE THE ENT DOCTOR BUT THE NURSE SAID 

I CANNOT SEE DOCTOR WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT.  SINCE THERE

WAS ONLY 1 PATIENT WAITING I TOLD THE NURSE TO CHECK WITH

THE DOCTOR.  THE NURSE WHILE PLAYING WITH HER PHONE SAID

NO APPOINTMENT NO SEE DOCTOR.

I AGAIN TOLD HER THAT I AM ALREADY THERE SINCE MORNING

I DON'T MIND WAITING TILL THE DOCTOR IS AVAILABLE.

WITHOUT EYE CONTACT THE NURSE CONTINUE PLAYING HER 

PHONE INSISTED THAT THIS IS HOSPITAL POLICY.  NO APPOINTMENT 

NO SEE DOCTOR.

MY ENT APPOINTMENT IS GIVEN END OF JANUARY 2023.

THAT HOSPITAL VISIT WAS 6 HOURS LONG.

BY THE TIME I LEFT, I KNEW EXACTLY WHAT 4 OF THE 20 NURSES 

DID THE NIGHT BEFORE WITH THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS AND THE 

KIND OF FOOD THEY HAD.

EACH CLINIC CAN ONLY SEE APPROXIMATELY 80 PATIENTS IN THE 

MORNING. WITH 6 DOCTORS AND 20 NURSES.

THIS INCLUDE SENIOR CITIZENS, OKU AND CHILDREN.

MANY PATIENTS COME IN BETWEEN 6.30 AM TO 7.30AM TO GET THE

NUMBERS.

AFTER 8AM THE WAITING TIME TO SEE THE DOCTOR IS BETWEEN 1 

TO 2 HOURS.

NOW IF ONE WERE TO GO TO PRIVATE CLINIC WHICH HAS ONLY 1

OR 2 DOCTORS AND 2 TO 4 NURSES AND PATIENTS OF 20.  

THE VISIT WILL NOT LAST MORE THAN AN HOUR.

ONE CAN EVEN DO XRAY, URINE TEST, CHECK EARS AND DO BLOOD 

TEST AND GET MEDICINE WITHIN THAT PERIOD.

PRIVATE CLINIC DOES EVERYTHING EXCEPT CUT YOU OPEN WITH 

JUST ONE VISIT.

PRIVATE CLINIC DO NOT TELL YOU TO MAKE APPOINTMENT OR

COME BACK IN 3 MONTHS.

I TRULY BELIEVE PRIVATE CLINIC CAN SEE 100 PATIENTS A DAY 

WITHIN 8 HOURS WITH JUST 2 DOCTORS AND 4 NURSES AND SMILE 

ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK.

THIS IS CALL SERVICE.

BUT DO OUR MINISTERS AND LITTLE NAPOLEON UNDER WHAT IS

SERVICE??????  THE ANSWER IS NO.

I AM A SENIOR CITIZEN.

WHEN I GO HOSPITAL OR CLINIC, I WANT SERVICE.  NOT PERFECT 

OR GOOD SERVICE BUT JUST SERVICE.

I DO NOT GO HOSPITAL OR CLINIC TO LISTEN TO GRANDMOTHER'S 

STORY OR WHAT THE NURSES DID THE NIGHT BEFORE OR WHAT

SHOW THEY HAD WATCHED OR WHICH CHILD OF THEIRS REFUSED

TO EAT OR CRIED.

WITH TOO MANY NURSES, THEY TEND TO GOSSIP.

INSTEAD OF THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX, THE MINISTER AND LITTLE 

NAPOLEON RELY ON OTHERS FAVOURABLY TO MARKET THEIR 

PRODUCTS WHICH THEY CAN RECEIVE KICKBACKS.

TAKE ME TO ANY CLINIC OR HOSPITAL AND I CAN REDO THE 

SYSTEM ON THE SPOT.

BEFORE THAT STOP THE WRITTEN CARD AND COMPUTERIZED THE

WHOLE SYSTEM.  ONE CAN DO THAT CLINIC BY CLINIC INSTEAD OF 

TRYING TO DO EVERYTHING AT THE SAME TIME.

THE CLINIC NEARBY MY PLACE HAS 800 PATIENTS NOT 3,000 SO IT

IS EASY TO FIX THE SYSTEM.

DOES THE CLINIC NEARBY NEED 16 NURSES AND 6 DOCTORS?

THE 6 DOCTORS ARE NEEDED BUT NOT ALL 16 NURSES ARE 

WELCOME.

I HAVE OBSERVED ENOUGH OF TIME THAT IF THE SYSTEM IS 

WELL MANAGED 10 NURSES SUDAH CUKUP.

THIS IS A GOVERNMENT WEAKNESS.

WHAT THE GOVERNMENT HAS PROMOTED AND ARE STILL DOING IS

CREATING HUMAN ROBOTS TO DO JUST ONE TASK.  

4 STAFF TO WRITE THE PATIENT 'S DETAIL.

4 STAFF TO CHECK THE PRESSURE.  THE PATIENT CHECK OWN

WEIGH AND HEIGHT AND REPORT BACK TO THE NURSE WHO IS 

SITTING DOWN GOSSIPING.

4 STAFF TO MAKE APPOINTMENT.

4 STAFF FOR MEDICINE.

4 STAFF FOR URINE AND BLOOD TEST.

ALL THIS IS JUST FOR 100 PATIENTS A DAY.
