Too Obvious To Ignore

The commotion created by only a handful of trouble makers for Section 23 residents for the temple relocation dialogue is shameful and pathetic.

From the video, one could see only 3 men were very vocal, rude and bullish, with another four bully supporters plus of course the jeering from the two women in tudung.

During my youth I have attended at least five dialogue sessions. One at the Sacred Heart Church in Peel Road, One at Kg Pandan Girls’ School and another one at a home in Cochrane Road. The other two were in England. At all these sessions, everyone were given a chance to voice their dissatisfaction and proposal were also given. In short everyone had a say.

Yesterday commotion were planned ahead not to allow Section 23 residents’ voices to be heard. This was obvious from the handful of men who just created havoc even before entering the hall. Whether they are genuine residents or not, only they themselves can answer. Again they should bear in mind this is the period of Ramadan. A little understanding and give and take should be observe. But when you are favoured a tidy sum plus future contracts, then it is sinful especially when you are a sleazy Muslim.

I believe too that these handful of trouble makers are not capable to sit down and talk logically or even give a simple proposal.

I would suggest another dialogue should be called for, this time those who do not wish to discuss should be banned from entering. Allow the rest of Section 23 residents to speak from their hearts before a decision is finalize. If the State Government were to be bullied and defer for every good intend and purposes, how then is there a difference to the way UMNO had ruin the state.
