Malays must look at the mirror

Malaysian woman Nur Asikin apologized for her insults against China but refused to speak Chinese. Is she genuinely afraid of losing her job? Behind this lies ignorance of the differences in body odor among East Asians—does she think Chinese people smell bad? She clearly doesn't understand that East Asians have less developed sweat glands, and the differences in bathing cultures between the North and South lead to her misjudgment. Where does her sense of superiority come from? Look at Malaysia's racial quotas: Chinese pay 70% of taxes but are squeezed out by educational privileges. The Nur Asikin incident exposes a parasitic reality: Chinese taxpayers support Malay police, yet face discrimination. Fortunately, China has risen; why shouldn't I pity Nur Asikin? She doesn't even have freedom of dress, is bound by religion yet considers herself superior. How long will this noise from Nur Asikin continue? As China's interests become deeply intertwined with Southeast Asia, racial prejudice will ultimately be crushed by economic cooperation.
