In the name of the poor
Anwar has suggested that all elected representatives from Selangor donate a sum of RM1000 or 20% of their newly-revised salary to the State Edcuation Fund for the Poor.
Now isn't that nice and thoughtful. But wait!
Yes another one of those BUTs very common in Malaysia.
We Malaysians are charitable in many ways and why not when it goes into the ones who get to share the goodies. The ones I am talking about are not the intended POOR and the OKU. Malaysians have the habit of siphoning the money for OWN use.
Billions of ZAKAT money went into the Royal Houses never to be seen again. Every year the POOR and OKU continue to be beggars. No roof, no food, no medicine, no education and no Mykad.
In the name of clean environment, money went into karaoke.
In the name of research, money went into gambling.
In the name of tourism, money went into whore houses and buying diamonds.
I propose that the DONATION BE IN THE FORM OF TANGIBLE ASSET TO THE RAKYAT.
Just a note to my readers that the Government and State Government have failed to give the POOR and OKU their allowance for the past eight (8) months and some as long as two (2) years. Want to guess where the money went??????????????????????????
