Couple come to rob

"We have lodged a police report SG PETANI/000971/13 against Ganesh (IC no 840409-08-5815) and Ranjini (IC no 931112-02-5954) at Sungai petani on 9th jan' 2013.

We met Ganesh and Ranjini in our Church at Taman Batik, Sungai Petani during December, 2012. Since Ganesh was handicapped and they were struggling without food & shelter, out of sympathy we helped them and allowed them to stay in our house for a short period. After one day when we went to drop our son in School they stole our valuables (jewelry: ~ 240 grams; Cameras: Canon & Sony; Silver Anklets; Ladies wrist watch: Alba; Mobile: Sony Ericson), broke the gate and escaped using our car. They left our car in Ipoh and informed us after one week. With the help of police we got back our car from Ipoh police station.

We have the photos of the stolen items and the receipt for the new camera (Canon A810) that we purchased 3 months ago.

I have attached the photo of the couple (Ganesh and Ranjini) who robbed us, the Sungai Petani police report, the new Camera receipt, list of stolen items with description, details of the theft incident as well as the information I've collected about the couple. We didn't get any response from Sungai Petani District police. We have escalated our case to Bukit Aman last month. When we emailed to the police at Bukit Aman several times no one responded except one person. I have attached those emails that my husband and I received from police Bin (DCP) who doesn't seem to be the right person. At last were able to contact the right police. From Bukit Aman they already informed us that its unlikely to recover our stolen things. Still we are hoping to get a favorable reply for Bukit Aman."

If possible do share the couple's pic to alert others. Hoping that criminals are placed behind bars.
