Syabas going for the kill

Most of the affected areas with dry taps are where majority are Chinese.  This is because UMNO Selangor Chairman Najib and Kutty have decided this is the best method to bring down the Selangor State Government in time for 13th GE.  Najib and Kutty are confidence they have the Malays in their palms, so their main concern are the Chinese and Indians. Najib and Kutty have given ample warning that every resources will be use to ensure that BN take back Selangor.  Even Sultan of Selangor has shown no interest for the Rakyat instead is going all out for petty issue like non-Muslim cannot use the word 'Allah.'

It is time Selangor State Government cut off completely any dealing with Syabas and Federal Government and take over the running of water.  Every single privatisation have gone wrong in Malaysia because this was the only way Mahathir Kutty knew how to control the Rakyat in this country.  Everything have to be broken down in pieces so that no Union or System can function on its own.  Every damn thing has to go through him.  Now that Mahathir Kutty is no longer the Prime Minister, he is more determine to control the sitting Prime Minister to the fullest.  Mahathir Kutty has only 1 thought and 1 focus and that is without him MALAYSIA CANNOT EXIST.

So how much more abuse are you going to take before YOU ARE ANGRY ENOUGH TO OUST THE MANAGEMENT OF SYABAS especially the ones who collect FAT SALARY each month and play politic?  In other countries like Taiwan, Korea, UK and Sweden they throw rotten eggs, tomatoes and whatever they can carry at people who do not work or scam them.  But here in Malaysia we continue to extend their contracts and pay them hefty salaries.

It is time the Malays start their SOLAT HAJAT and the other religion their prayers for all this shit to end.

Syabas:Water crisis in Klang Valley may go on till next month

Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor (Syabas) has dropped a bombshell, saying the water crisis in the Klang Valley is likely to continue until Chinese New Year.
Its executive chairman Tan Sri Rozali Ismail today said the crisis could prolong as there was a shortage of treated water.
This was attributed to:-
 an increase in demand from time to time;
 suspension of capital expenditure (capex) programmes which included repair works, upgrading or changing of assets; and
 the current water distribution system by the state government.
He said the situation in the affected areas will be monitored closely and Syabas will update residents daily, Bernama reports.
The areas especially affected are Gombak, Ampang and Cheras.
The Selangor government has, however, made angry assertions that the situation could have been avoided if the maintenance works had been done properly.
Mentri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said that the disruptions in Gombak, Ampang and Cheras were caused by the inability of Syabas to maintain the water pumphouses under their care.
"We cannot accept Syabas' excuse as the concessionaire should make sure all five pumps are working," he said.
Abdul Khalid said according to the Selangor water supply monitor committee, four of the five pumps malfunctioned on Jan 2 while another was undergoing maintenance work.
The committee also discovered that pump number two had been malfunctioning for about a year and was not repaired while pump number four and five started malfunctioning on Dec 28 last year.
"Syabas' claim that the pumps malfunctioned because they were overworked is untrue. Throughout last year, the pumps only handled more than 200 million litres per day for 18 days," he said.
Abdul Khalid, who visited the Wangsa Maju pumphouse on Monday and was briefed by Syabas, said the water disruption in the past 10 days had nothing to do with the proposed Langat 2 water treatment plant. He urged Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to view the matter seriously and speed up the state's proposed water restructuring exercise so that Selangor can take over the water supply from Syabas.
Syabas chief operating officer Datuk Lee Miang Koi today explained he expected the restoration of water supply in 13 areas in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur to take a longer time, Bernama reports.
He said the restoration process could not be fully achieved in areas such as Taman Pandan Jaya, Taman Cempaka, Pandan Cahaya and Desa Pandan, involving about 28,000 accounts, due to inadequate water supply capacity.
The pump rate of the Wangsa Maju pumphouse is restricted to 180 million litres per day compared to the normal rate of 210 million litres per day.
"The restoration for the Kuala Lumpur area thus far was only 40% owing to the reduction in the pumping rate of treated water from the pumphouse.
"The pumphouse is overloaded if it is required to operate above the pumping rate of 170 to 180 million litres per day," he said.
Lee, who advised the public to use water sparingly during the restoration period, said Syabas has been using 40 tankers to supply water to the affected areas.
He said the Pudu Hulu Baru pumphouse was fully operational on Jan 6, while water supply in the Gombak area was 95% restored.
About 1,000 Syabas staff, including 450 technical staff, are involved in the round-the-clock operation, since the crisis started two weeks ago.
