I heard about this resort many moons ago. At that time sources said that it belong to the Brunei Sultan's brother. Then Mahathir (PM then) stepped into the picture by refusing to pay for the renovation which cost around RM600 million. But RM300 million were already spent by UMNO cronies who acted as middlemen.
So where did the Royal Household got that kind of money many moons ago to purchase the resort. ZAKAT! ZAKAT.
Muslim in this country are real suckers.
