Why are there so many stabbing cases in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor?

DANGER ALERT!!
Hi all,
Good morning to all.  CNA (Channel News Asia) reported this news this morning but this is blocked in Malaysia.  There is a syndicate of men in KL  who have been stabbing and robbing their victims in broad daylight and crowded places during the last 24 hrs.
The 1st incident happened yesterday around 4pm in Puduraya as the girl was boarding a bus to Ipoh.  As she boarded, a guy came down and stabbed her suddenly.   She survived and  was robbed only.
Next incident happened at 5.30pm in Low Yat mall.  After work, 2 girls were heading to Berjaya mall from Low Yat mall, when one of them was stabbed and robbed.  Apparently she died from her injuries while the other was unharmed.
3rd incident was in KLCC at 6.30pm another girl was stabbed and killed while she was heading to her car after work.  The CCTV showed the killer could only been seen from the back.  It seemed he studied the place before committing the crime. All this happened within a day - 1 hour apart from each incident and there is strong suspicion that it is the same person. Some of the shopping malls have been ordered to close or have their security stepped up.
Please inform everyone to be aware his/her surroundings and tread carefully in crowded places. They want your money but do not you to be able to identify them as they dont wear masks. So please be very careful. It is speculated that this person might still be in Selangor and some of the shopping complexes are on high alert. Precautions taken in Sunway Pyramid, Mid Valley, One U and Subang Parade.

Just to add more information on this latest trend of crime.  On the 18th June 2012 when I went to the Pudu Police Station to lodge my police report against the Bailiff and Cimei's lawyer, the policemen were discussing that on that day alone there were 70 stabbing cases.  This is the highest recorded cases in just one station in the history of Malaysia.
So what are PDRM and Home Ministry doing?
It would be good if they can buckle up instead of being on call 24-hours to be UMNO licking dogs.
