PDRM should be transparent

IGP: Bar Council must be more transparent

May 14, 2012
Resolution had punished the police force, says Inspector-General of Police Ismail Omar.
PUTRAJAYA: Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Ismail Omar has urged the Bar Council to be more transparent in making conclusion on the Bersih 3.0 rally held in the capital on April 28.
He said the resolution passed by the Bar Council in an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on Friday was prejudiced and had punished the police force.
“I like to know the reference used because the decision (judgment) was swift. I couldn’t make a decision and said we will investigate.
Why is PDRM not interested in investigating who are the 200 hundred police personnel, Perkasa thugs and Malay thugs that went on rampage attacking protesters who were waiting for the re-opening of LRT stations, having their meals or just walking about?
“Suddenly, the Bar Council make a decision. I think you can judge for yourself,” he told reporters after visiting Putrajaya Hospital to mark 205th Police Day celebration today.
We have seen enough to judge that PDRM should be abolish and a new agency should be set up with a man brave enough to do the right thing in the most honourable way.
Ismail also said that the Bar Council did not inform the police before making the resolution.
The resolution also condemned the police for using water cannons and tear gas and not giving rally participants enough time to disperse in an orderly manner.
There were absolutely no warning given when FRU started firing tear gas.
On the use of water cannons and tear gas, Ismail said it was based on the law, standard operating procedure (SOP) and the Public Manual of the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM).
Show us the damn Manual. Not the ones dated in 1960.
However, police would study the issue raised by United Nations and make changes to procedures used, if necessary, and accept proposals from any party on the best way to disperse rallies.]
Since when PDRM ever listen or make changes.  It is an agency for dinosaurs.
Ismail welcomed the appointment of former IGP, Hanif Omar, as chairman of the Independent Advisory Panel to probe the violent rally and would give full cooperation.
Yeah, a retired millionaire IGP.  Tell me honestly where he got the brain to earn that kind of money if not from underground.  If you got that kind of business brain, you will not serve in the police force.  Only a bugger with no hope joins the police force.
He also dismissed the notion that Hanif’s presence would make the panel biased and was confident that the investigation would be conducted professionally.
Hanif's presence would turn it into a circus.  For a bugger who prays five times a day and sin thousand times a day only I am confident he will shit at least once per day.
On those wanted for rioting, he said three individuals had surrendered to police over the weekend and asked others to surrender before the deadline ends tomorrow.
Ismail also said many police personnel are suffering from diabetes and heart diseases and urged them to adopt a healthy diet and a healthy lifestyle.
How not to suffer from diabetes and heart diseases.  Everyday collect bribe like drinking water.  Don't believe go to Tun Razak roundabout and take pictures.  Everyday got suckers paying RM50 to police personnel.  You think they got shame, no-lah all thick skin like lembu. Even Salleh the bapak lembu paid over RM100,000 to police investigators to erase evidence from police report.
“Although it is not serious, I want to encourage them to live healthy so that we are seen as a vibrant agency to increase public confidence,” he added.
Not serious.  Look around you.  PDRM suffering from over corruption.
